Excellent machine. Makes great dough

I recently bought this  dough mixer and it has completely changed my baking experience. The large capacity is perfect for making batches of bread. The proofing function is great and makes the dough rise perfectly every time. I love the little window on the top that allows me to add water or seasoning without stopping the machine. The included weighing function is perfect as it means I don't have to buy an extra weighing machine.

I bought this to make pizza dough and it works amazingly. This machine has completely changed the way I bake - it takes away all the hassle. Now, making dough is easy for me and I use my pizza oven a lot more.

We have made dough, mostly bread, in a bread maker for years. We just never used the bake function, preferring to bake in the oven. When the bread maker died it made sense to switch to a dough maker. It took some time to get the timing right for our kitchen environment. We finally worked it out, but still not quite as good as the old bread maker was. The big flaw, the reason for the 3 rating, the mixing paddle creeps up. Every 2-3 times used the paddle will lift up. Sometimes just the littlest bit, other times completely off!

I love this mixer. It is quiet, powerful, easy to operate, and easy to clean. I have used it to make pizza dough and whole grain breads.
